Before the Map
The town did not begin as a collection of attractions.
Its roads connect places that already have names, responsibilities, memories, and unfinished business. Regent receives the visitor. Naples keeps the harbor awake. Ashwitz records what passed through. Kyōbugi and Nine Serpents hold two different answers above the mist. San Valley grows quietly at the edge.
The loop makes them reachable. It does not make them agree.
